checking account. On the 14th of Feb we were handed papers of
forclosure.I made 14 calls to this company, and they told me because they did not recieve Dec/07 payment, Well I had all
bank statements and paper to prove it was. I told them it had been made ,they told me it was Nov /07, I told them ,no -you have that also. We played this game all the way back to April /07,Now I am no longer looking at my paper work and just telling them that
thay have the payment. This then told me they did not have a clue.My best friend is an attorney, So I gave it all to him, he requested a report from them ,with no
responce,I recieved a letter the first of June ,and Home-Q will forclose on07/15/08-,They Think-- I am writing this to let people know that if you look up --Wachovia Trouble- on your computer, you will find,This bank under federal investagation for laundering Drug Money and if anyone wants to join a class action. Please let me know. We tried working with Homeq from day 1 and they would not work with us. Our rates kept climbing horribly to the point we could no longer afford the payments. I tried on several occasions to have them restructure the loan, but they would not. I warned them that raising the interest was a bad business move on their part as I lose house and they lose principle owed... Well, now we are in our redemption period and will NOT redeem this house as we found a much nicer home (newer, bigger, less problems) for $30k less than they expect from us if we want to redeem. HA! Guess they need to learn to listen!

We have tried for 2 years to get them to work with us. All we get is a different story from wvery person I talk to. Some guy named Tim O'Brien said he would help us - more lies. Changed his story 3 times, wouldn't return calls or emails. We are current but were told to let it go into foreclosure and then they would help. Currently talking to a lawyer about filing a chapter 13 bk and including the 2nd as part of the unsecured debt. We have been shut down repeatedly by these jerks,

Well I have a huge complaint to write about. HomEQ is just out right dirty. My home was headed into foreclosure and I was placed onto a repayment plan, my plan nearly tripled. The plan was to start with a deposit of 10,000 which I sent in (because I didnt want to lose my home.) My payment was only 1300 monthly.....out of the 10,000 only 2months was paid the rest went into my esrow account...........can they do that............Then after a few months they tried to increase my payments again because of my adjustable rate. Making my payment higher these guys are rip offs.....I put almost 18,000 into trying to save my home in a 3 month period only to lose my home because the rep that was handling my payment plan didnt do there job. My home went to sell even after I completed what I was to do.....I sent my payment that was due out the 18th of Janurary holiday was 21 Janurary my sale was 22nd of Janurary., My house sold because the payment didnt post in time.....Not my fault) but im losing my home because of it........the money I sent in remained there for weeks, because after receiving a letter from westurn Union to pick up my payment I called Homeq, talked with a Ms Jones and she stated she was going to have the sale recinded, she stated for me to remain on my current plan so I was thankful and vowed to stay on top of my job as well as others...lol.....so I thought. I sent in my next payment as schelduled, and I get a letter from Homeq that the payment was returned due to insuffient amount.......WHAT!!!!! I called and called and called and called.....Just to hear SORRY your home went to sale, your now in redemtion Period............WHY waste our time.....we could have filed BK or something but trying to avoid that we settled for their sick repayment plan,......(instead of a loan Modification) they are crooks looking for only a paycheck.....

We are having issues w/ HomeQ. Back in Oct I called to have our pmt deducted from our account. Come to find out they deducted two times - overdrawing my account. Then to top it off they said they only received one pmt. After 6 months of sending them my bank statements and cancelled checks they tell me they have no idea where it is - to check with my bank. So I did and come to find out Wachovia had an extra payment they were "hanging on to". So now I am still waiting to get my money refunded. I called HomeQ and told them the story, send the letter from my bank as well as Wachovia. I am now being told that I have over $2,000 in late fees, daily simple interest loans and corporate fees. How can they do this to us???? Any advice would be great.

Predatory lender, what a joke. Homeq isn't even a lender, they're a servicer. So in essence they couldn't have been a predatory lender, because they didn't originate the loan. Look it up, and to anyone reading this read your loan documents, if you aren't abiding by them then you have no right to file a complaint.
