I feel like Homeq is ripping us off! I was on time with all my mtg. payments until the end of 2007 when my business wasn't do so well. I kept paying Homeq the best I could, sometimes $50. short. Of course I was in communication with them all along. I ended up not being able to afford homeowner's insurance in order to pay the mortgage so they added insurance to the mtg. They decided to put the full premium amount of $1700. causing me to go into foreclosure! Then they added an additional $2000. legal fees. They told me I had to come up with at least $3200. to get it out of foreclosure, and when I did they declined my payment. Now I am currently in foreclosure again. I have no other alternative but to file for bankruptcy. I felt like they really screwed me over!**I must say that the people at Homeq customer service have been nice, but I get a different answer every time I call.

11. Written by BJ Powers, on 12-05-2008 08:06 Ditto on this. We lost our house due to samepractices. This company and Homecoming Financial are both under the umbrella of an even larger colloborate. Deutche Bank. Twice, unfortantely, we lost our houses!! Now, in danger of losing our present home!
12. Written by Cheryl, on 23-04-2008 13:47 We let them have our house when our payments got up to 2100.00. We let them eat it. They ruined our credit and we lost everything trying to keep our head above water to pay them.
13. Written by Sir no Name, on 22-04-2008 21:35 Homeq Servicing did not work with us. We communicated with them when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We fell behind by 1 month and out of the blue they send us a letter informing us that they are foreclosuring on our home. These people should not be able to treat decent people like this.
